The Sorrento Lift (to the harbour and beaches)

It connects the centre (Piazza F.S. Gargiulo, in the Villa Comunale gardens) to Marina Piccola and the beaches, saving you the walk down. A single ride is €1.20 (€2.20 return). Opening hours are seasonal: in high summer (June–September) it runs from about 07:00 until around 00:30, with shorter hours in the quieter months. · Tel. 081 8072543 · sorrentolift.it

Night bus Sorrento – Naples (EAV)

Useful when the train is not running. Indicative departures — from Sorrento (station): 22:30 · 23:15 · 23:45 · 00:20 · 01:35 · 02:25 · 04:15 · 04:50 · 05:40. From Naples (Piazza Garibaldi, Hotel Terminus): 23:02 · 23:49 · 00:49 · 02:49 · 03:49 · 04:34. Confirm current times with EAV before travelling.

Marozzi coach Sorrento – Rome

A direct coach links Sorrento (Corso Italia) and Rome (Tiburtina), stopping at Pompeii, Castellammare di Stabia and Vico Equense. The journey takes about four hours and a one-way ticket is around €22. Rome → Sorrento usually departs at 07:00 (weekends) or 15:00 (weekdays), with services from Sorrento in the early morning and the afternoon. Days and times vary, so check on marozzivt.it before booking.
