Where to Eat in Sorrento: Restaurants by Area
On this page
Eating well is one of the great pleasures of a stay in Sorrento. Within a short walk of Piazza Tasso you’ll find everything from wood-fired pizzerias and family trattorias to refined dining rooms; down at the marinas the catch of the day is cooked almost on the water; and a short trip along the peninsula leads to Nerano, the little bay where spaghetti alla Nerano was born. Here are our favourite places to eat, organised by area so you can choose by where you are — and what you’re in the mood for.
Central Sorrento
The old town is the easiest place to eat: traditional trattorias, historic dining rooms, pizzerias and casual spots are all within a few minutes of one another. It’s the natural choice for dinner after a stroll through the centre — and for a drink afterwards, see our bars and aperitivo guide.
